Wild Gardens creates spaces where people can experience wild places both passively and/or interactively in their own gardens and communities. We offer environments where people can have space and some time to find themselves both comforted and mesmerized by the natural world outside their homes. Uniquely our work is focused primarily in urban and suburban areas that, with time and vision, hold just as much room for these wild habitats as rural land.
Wild Gardens for Every Space
Our gardens offer beauty and art, but most importantly are brimming with life and spontaneity. We design and plant gardens that evolve and change seasonally and yearly, where the plants are in community with one another. Our gardens support insects and birds as well as people. Our work is a mutual creation over time with the client, our team, and the garden.
We can do this in a space of any size, from small postage stamp yards to large properties and community spaces. We have services that support small budgets and DIY clients as well as clients that want a complete habitat development. This includes design, project management, install, and aftercare.
We are not a "landscape" company. We work with our clients for a long time- often years to help them understand the language of their space and how to work with the land, but not control it.
